Before submitting your article, please consider the following guidelines:
- Browse previous Factum Perspective articles at factum.lk to familiarise yourself with the style and scope of our publications.
- We publish articles across a range of broad topic categories. You are welcome to suggest the category that best fits your submission.
- We welcome thoughtful, well-reasoned perspectives that may challenge mainstream thinking while remaining respectful of all communities, individuals, and viewpoints.
- Keep your article concise, clear, and focused. We recommend articles between 1,000 and 1,500 words.
- Include a summary of no more than 50 words outlining the main argument or purpose of your article.
- Include a complete list of references and sources at the end of your article. For in-text citation, please use APA or Chicago styles.
- Submit your article in Calibri, size 11, using US English.
- Articles must be original, written specifically for Factum, and should not have been published elsewhere.
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) may be used as a support tool during research or drafting. However, the final article should reflect the author’s own analysis, judgement, and writing.
- Factum reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity, grammar, style, structure, and length. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy of the information presented and the reliability of the sources cited.
- Include a brief author biography (one or two sentences) at the end of your article outlining your background, qualifications, or relevant experience.
