Uditha is an independent researcher and columnist based in Sri Lanka. In 2016 he completed an LL.B. at CfPS Law School, affiliated to the University of London. After spending the next three years in advertising, he entered the Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations program at the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies (BCIS). Uditha has been published in various journals, including The Diplomat, Himal Southasian, and the US-based Journal of Indo-Pacific Affairs.

His interests, apart from international relations, include history, film, art and culture, economics, and photography. Whether at work or at home, he is always researching.
