Dhanushi is a communication specialist and a researcher on media and public information dissemination. She has long years of experience in the development sector, contributing as a writer, publicity coordinator, communications, networking, and events coordinator in international development organizations such as Practical Action, Terre des Homme, and ICEI. Her research interests are community and social media, social cohesion, youth, climate change, and the emerging South Asia in the new millennium. Dhanushi has a Masters in Authorship and Mass Communication from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She has authored and presented her work at many local and international publications and conferences.
